Best Way To Combine Interests in Law and Corporate Development (BESIDES restructuring)?
Hi,
So basically, I have an interest in 2 areas business law/ethics and corporate development/corp finance (not corp fin advisory though) and I was wondering if there is a way, outside of restructuring, to combine those interests into a career. I have eliminated restructuring because, at least right out of undergrad, that's probably not going to happen due to me being at a non-target and not being an incredible, standout student in general, so if there are other areas that might be overlooked or more attainable involved in these areas, I was wondering if you all can list some.
Btw, salary is generally of little consequence to me, but, and I know I'm gonna get flamed for this, I would like to have the potential to earn a decent living (by decent I mean 150k after 10-15 yrs of working), so that's something to consider. However, if the job you recommend means doing something I'd really enjoy and never breaking 6 figs, I'd prefer that to being a big 4 auditor and earning a lot more but doing monotonous, unstimulating work.
Thanks!
