Bobby Axelrod vs Top HF manager
Hi, i'm enjoying the show "billions", on episode 4 there is a description of what is it like to be one of the most prestigious hedge fund manager, clearly it's depicted as a fiction, what are the difference with the reality, beetween how Axelrod is deicped, and how are in reality the real top hedge fund mangers.
Where would you put axelrod in a skill scale compared to the others? Is he depicted as "too good" to be real or wouldn't he make it into real hedge fund business, or is he somewhat accured in the technical skills one has to posess in order to suceed in the real world?
What?
i'm sorry about my poor english
in episode 4 of the tv show "billions"
there is a portrait of what this hedg fund manager does, like his ability, his skills, what he does at work, what people do for him, et cetera.
I would like to know, how far from reality this character could be
Is there any real person that could be good as him, or he is just in line with people like ken griffin or paul tudor jones?
I can attest first hand that Carl Icahn, Paul Tudor Jones, George Soros, Bill Ackman, Ray Dalio, David Tepper, and David Einhorn all run their shops exactly like Bobby Axelrod.
