The Fed cannot and must not bail out other banks because if they do, they will have broken AGAIN one of the checks and balances of the financial system.

One bail out is more than enough and caused enough problems and fall out. If the Fed and Treasury were to bail Lehman....Paulson and Bernanke would be heralded as the rule breakers.
