Best Study Guides
Hello, I've been looking for a guide to practice my LBO and Growth equity modeling and case studies, as well as to learn the best ways to break into PE. I've found two guides, WSO and Mergers&Inquisitions, and it seems that the former has more on breaking in while the latter has more guides. Does anyone have any personal recoomendations between either those two or one that is not mentioned?
Thanks

Book Suggestions - Solid book recommendations for specific topics? (Originally Posted: 08/06/2010)
Anyone have any solid book recommendations for the specific topics below relating to BANKS? Or even a good website reference to find?
Secondary Market-Asset Backed Securities: pricing/mechanics
Capital Adequacy: regional & commercial banks & regulator issues
Commercial Lending (ex: extending amortization)
Acquisition Financing: LBO's
Equity Transactions - recapitalization - management buyouts - growth capital transactions - acquisition of minority interest
THANK YOU for any help!
Fabozzi Mortgage backed securities should cover a lot of those topics.
There is a book called Mergers, Acquisitions, and Restructurings that most college LBO classes use. I have also heard good things about M&A from A to Z.
