Can work experience help you get into MFE / MSF?
Hey guys,
I'm starting as a 1st year in BB S&T next summer, but in my last year of college I've realized I'm more interested in quantitative finance than regular S&T.
So I think I want to go back and get a MFE or MS in financial math after my analyst stint is over, but I'm going to graduate with a very mediocre GPA (3.5) from a semitarget undergrad as an econ major/math minor.
Assuming I can meet the prerequisites, though, would having BB S&T work experience help me overcome a weak GPA if I wanted to get into a top program? I know work experience is huge for MBAs but is it the same for MFE?

wtf is a 3.5 that bad?

Hey man at my school for MSF
Hey man at my school for MSF atleast....... They mostly come right out of undergrad before hitting the job market. They take their GMAT, have a undergrad GPA, and that is what most people do.
