Capital Market Technology.

I recently gained a new patient, who is in the business of Asset Management for a "hedge fund" as they put it. I won't talk about the details of their problem(S), since that is a big "no-no" in my business. But they kept talking about "Capital Market Technology". I only know the basics of Capital Market Technology like P/E ratios and 52-week high/low, but that's about it. Would all the proper/real money managers, investment bankers, etc.. tell me what Capital Market Technologies you are using to predict and determine which stocks, options, futures, etc... to buy/sell. Thanks for the help.
