Cell Phone Question

some people use two phones, others use just one. I liked having just one (BB) until IT blocked everything you can think of on our blackberries. What's the point of having a smart phone if you can't get to you gmail account, facebook, install apps, etc..? So now I carry two, one for personal use (and I can do everything I want with it) and the other is a BB that only has a data plan, no voice plan.

Everybody I know has a bberry and a company phone and most but not all use both. Personally I don't like talking on the bberry since it feels like I'm holding a brick to my face in comparison to a slim mobile.

Oconnor - are you saying that the company provides you a blackberry and a separate phone, or do they just provide the blackberry?

well "company phone" would imply that it's provided by the company wouldn't it

Well I've just never heard of the company giving people two phones. None of the analysts I worked with were given two, so I just wanted to clarify.

yeah i haven't either. that must more of an exception than a rule. most companies give you a BB and pay for the data plan only. some companies pay for voice too, but what's the point of having two phone numbers?
