Studied on and off for 2 months prior, and studied a lot the final week or two. Estimated 50-65 hours of studying max. Passing the CPA helped with studying, as well as previous coursework when i was in school. Level 2 is way harder i hear.
Total time studying: 60 hours, started studying two weeks before exam.
Guides: schweser
Honestly, this was a really fun process [at the very least, it was much more intellectually demanding than my job]. Reminded me of the many late nights i spent studying while I was in college.

That's impressive! Do you already have much work experience?
I was studied while in my last year of university and working full-time. Used Kaplan Schweser books and did several practice questions. Kaplan Schweser Question Bank is the shit.
Is your email on a yahoo account? I've heard in analyst forum.com that people with yahoo accounts are having trouble getting the results, or if not check the email was registered as spam. Either way they will be available tomorrow on the CFAI website. Best of luck!
Congrats to all of you on the successful results. I am planning on taking the level I in December. Would anyone happen to know of resources I could begin studying as I wait a few more weeks to raise enough$ to register and obtain the study materials provided by the institute?
