Changing undergrad program after accepting job

So I'm in my last term of school and have accepted a job at a financial group starting May 1st. I'm considering dropping a few courses in order to prepare for a relocation and spend more time studying for the CFA. By doing this, my program changes from Mathematical Economics to just Economics. My question is this: will this have any implications on my employment? I should note that the official offer letter did not have any contingencies, so I don't believe they will be verifying my program or even proof of degree. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.
