Cheesy Stories, Please.

So what has sparked your interest in the financial services industry?
Note: Not a specific "why ibanking/s&t" question. I already used the search feature on those. I'm looking for good cheesy ones such as "when I played the stock market game in 7th grade......"

Dodge Viper by age 18

When my mom gave me my allowance, she made me split it up into categories (Personal Choice, Gift, Tithe, Savings, Spending, etc).  I started planning out how long it would take me to save up to buy a trampoline, Dodge Viper, etc.  Before I knew the time value of money equations, I was doing the math long-hand trying to figure out how long I would have to save to be rich.  I've been fascinated by money since.

By the way, due to unrealistic expectations, I thought I could buy a Dodge Viper on a $5/mo allowance (assuming I worked full-time at age 16 making $6/hr ~ 40 hrs/week) when I turned 18.  haha.
