Advice about Cognizant Business Consulting

Hi WSO,

I'm writing for your insights! I was laid off from a Big 4 consulting firm (FS group) in March and have been looking around and doing some soul searching about where I want to go in life. Recently I had what appeared to be a final round interview with Cognizant for a Senior Consultant role in their digital strategy group in a major US metro (No one told me this was the final round but I had a "breakfast meeting" with the head of the group so HR thought this maybe final rounds).

I wanted to know what others on WSO think of Cognizant, the interview process was easy (I spoke with 3 ppl + breakfast with the group head) and everyone seems nice. But, I have some questions:

  1. How are they at staffing their Senior Consultants (this was an issue at my Big 4 firm, I couldn't get staffed)
  2. What is the promotions schedule (nether HR or my interviewer gave me a straight answer)
  3. What is the salary for a Senior Consultant Experience Hire
