Complex Systems and Fractals

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone on the forum was familiar with any hedge funds/mutual funds/asset managers who used specifically complex systems or fractal geometry to invest.

I'm a 'junior' at a uk university and wanted to discuss a model I was working on with anyone who knew comp. sys or fractals, and was willing to listen.

thanks.

I took a course called 'chaos, fractals, and dynamics' when I was a math undergrad. I also have done graduate level complex analysis. I'm willing to listen.

This stuff is very interesting to me as well......but, I wouldn't trust any kind of trading based off of it. If there is anybody I would call "the man" other than Milton Friedman it would be Benoit Mandelbrot.
