Kirk Wright

The best was when he showed investors account statements that were taped together and had Ameritrade at the top. He didn't let them touch; just look.

"Authorities say Wright took in $150 million from thousands of clients and used false documents to make them believe their investments were doing well, when he actually was losing money in the market."

Takes some balls to scam Steve Atwater. That man used to blow suckas up.

Edit: Didn't mean to take this in a fake, not simply unqualified, direction

Rofl @ non target.

if you ever were unfortunate enough to read the shithole that is elitetrader.com, you'll know that Tim Sykes is a complete quackjob.

rofl @ et. Whats wrong with et? Some siick indepedent traders on that site. And some people that literally are flushing their money down the toilet on there.

the noise to content ratio on et is worse than what you'd find on myspace.

does going to a target school matter that much? isnt it more what you do when you go into the working world that counts? Ie. getting into a good firm and proving your worth? there are lots of people that are from "good schools" that are total idiots, at the same time there are lots of people from good schools that are brilliant too. But i think basing someone worth just on their university (AFTER HAVING WORK EXPERIENCE) isn't fair.

untitled123 is obviously an idiot... you really think the school you went to is going to directly affect the kind of returns you make? I'm sure there's some good correlation between the top managers and their schools... but c'mon.

But they still have 100X the trading content that WSO does. Relevent stuff for futures/equities/fx/options. ET is a solid site, would love to steal some of their members. The site probably brings in 350k a year... not bad for a niche website....

et has a few good apples. in fact, in a very, long convoluted way, et contributed to me getting my current job. but for every quality post on ET, you'd have to filter out 100 shitty ones. definitely agreed that it would be nice to have some of their better members.
