Doug Kass 2011 Predictions

Doug Kass shared his predictions for 2011 with CNBC. Some of the things he mentioned were nonstarters (SEC crackdown on 12B-1 fees). Other things he wrote would have huge ramifications on the market. (A week long hiatus in trading)

What do you guys think? Is there possibility to what he says? For review, the link below is what Kass predicted for 2010.

I don't know why this guy gets so much credit. I am looking at his 20 predictions for 2010 and about the only thing he was correct about was housing and jobs failing to revive and treasury yields declining. Great call on the price of gold collapsing and Tiger Woods making a come back.

It's still ballsy to step out and make these predictions. Tiger may be making a comeback, Kass was just a little early. By the way, I wasn't giving him any cred, just posting his predictions.

Treasury yields collapsing was one of the boldest calls because everyone had treasury yields going to the moon in late 2009. I agree that he isn't an elite money manager, but it still is tough to put your reputation on the line like that for people to review.

I happen to like Doug Kass, his Buffett takedown a few years back was pretty epic. He's got balls that's for sure.
