Curious about this as well. Do these groups only hire Econ Phd or masters? Or can you get into them via mba or policy programs?
Regarding exit opps, I imagine that macro hedge funds and Fed/IMF/World Bank/think tanks are all viable options.
Are these groups extremely quantitative/held high in regard? What are hours/pay like?
