Engineering + Econ Minor --> TRADING?

Hi,

I'm interested in sales and trading. I want to get into a BB, and I have experience at a BB in Cap. Mkts. However, that BB doesn't exist anymore.

Would it matter if I pursue an Engineering + Econ Minor or Finance + Math from a state school (NJ) ?

I'm at a non-target for S&T, and it's hard enough getting front office jobs from here

Please help me with some advice, what should I do?

P.S. I personally feel engienering background will help hedge me in terms of not being successful at trading/finance in a bad economy such as this
