ETF danger

Hoping for a little help. I've read allusions to potential problems with ETFs, things that seemed to imply that they have hidden risks and/or somehow create a possible larger systemic risk. I understand that the levered ones do a poor job tracking, and that commodity ETFs have issues, including getting front run. Am I crazy, or is there intelligent literature suggesting more broad type flaws with the increasing use of ETFs?

Yes and no... while there is alot written on the subject, there is nothing really definited as "intelligent literature" out on the topic. Google the topic.

I know it was discussed here and might shed some light, but Zero Hedge, the major financial Media andthe blogosphere might have some good readings, but take it all with a grain of salt.
