E&Y BAP v. Deloitte ERS (internships)

Hi,

I'm a junior in college looking for internships, and recently applied to and received offers from EY for their Business Advisor Program and Deloitte for their ERS program (business risk). The Deloitte program is for Boston and EY for New York, though I have no real preference for location. The salaries are also comparable. On paper, they are both great offers.

My concern is about exactly what I will get out of each program. I'm interested in consulting in a broad sense, be it risk, strategy, or a combination of both. I want to make sure the position I take will give me good experience in that area, though I would want to remain with whichever firm I choose for a while.

Could those with knowledge of or experience with either or both programs comment on them and the experiences offered? Specifically, opinions about the programs, the opportunities they offer down the line, and the responsibilities of them would be helpful. I'm happy about both offers, and just want to make sure that whichever one I select is the better fit for the responsibilities of the position. If you have a recommendation, that would be great, as well.

Thanks for the help!
