Fixed Income Mathematics by Robert Zipf
Is this a good book for FI trading? I've taken a look at the math in it and it doesn't seem that complex at all (and I don't like the fact that, for instance, he just throws formulas there, without deriving them) . I want to have a brief overview of all major fields and products within FI, but I don't feel like reading Fabozzi (1000+ pages) right now. I intend to take a closer look at it, but only after having a brief overview first.
I might add that I found the book easy to read thanks to the intuitive approach it uses sometimes, which's great, by the way, since I have no prior experience with trading or anything related to it.
I can't speak to its usefulness in trading...but go for Fabozzi, it is an excellent book and you can read it as a reference (i.e. skipping around to what interests you rather than p.1-1000)
