Forced Relocation to London (Not a visa issue.)

If a bank asks someone to relocate to London, after a few months into their analyst program in the US, and this person does not really want to make the move, what sort of ex pat setup should he or she expect from his or her firm? Assume they have US Citizenship, so it is not a forced visa move.
