FT Analyst ? regarding NY Nonresident Tax Form

Stupid question I know, but I'd appreciate the help.

I will be heading to work full-time at a BB in LA. Given I will be in training for 7 weeks, in filling out my IT 2401 (the form for New York State, City of New York, and City of Yonkers Certificate of Nonresidence and Allocation of Withholding Tax) do I state that I am not a resident of NY or do I estimate the % of services that I will be in NY.
