Graduating in 3 years a good idea?

Hi. I'm currently a sophomore at a good target school. I can easily graduate in 3 years with an econ major and stats minor, as I took several major classes over the past summer. However, I know that most BB banks and even MM banks typically recruit students for the summer after their junior year. If I were to be an intern upon graduation (after 3rd year), would I just get a full-time offer to start right after the internship if the company liked me?

If money's not an issue (tho I understand if it is) - why not shoot for an internship after junior year and get a full time offer, then stick around for the senior victory lap where you take the minimum number of credits in the fall - Golf, History of Rock and Roll, and Child Psychology (interesting and chock full of cute girls) and then study abroad in Barcelona for your final semester, do yacht week in the spring, go to Ibiza in July and then run with the bulls in Pamplona and spend the rest of your sign on bonus cruising around the Mediterranean? Just a thought. Promise me you'll at least think about it for a few minutes. If the internship doesn't pan out you can always recruit again in the fall senior yr. But don't rush to grow up too soon.

if you like it then you shoulda put a banana on it
