Hello and intro.
I am in the Central Ohio area and am currently working in health care finance. I have a bachelor's degree in economics and am about to take the last of a series of accounting courses that will qualify me to take the CPA exam.
I would like to transition out of healthcare and into financial management and analysis. After obtaining the CPA, I will be continuing on the obtain the CPA/PFS.
I enjoy 10-k analysis and do all of my own screening. I am currently reading 'Creative Cash Flow Financing' by Charles Mulford and Eugene Comiskey. It has made me realize that a company's cash flow statement needs to be examined for nonsense just as carefully as it's earnings statement.
I look forward to some stimulating conversations in the forums and, if it would be welcome, to show some examples of my work.
Thanks,
Steve
