Help with paper on the Great Depression. (Monetarism)

I have to submit a 10 page paper on the Great Depression from the perspective of Monetary Policy. Basically, I am arguing that failures by the Fed caused the Great Depression as opposed to the Keynesian view on the causes.

Could you guys give me a few points/ideas?

I have read Friedman's "Monetary History..." and I basing my paper on it. But any additional ideas are welcome.

Thanks.

"Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way. In twenty years, if you're still livin' here, comin' over to my house to watch the Patriots games, still workin' construction, I'll fuckin' kill you. That's not a threat, that's a fact.

marcellus_wallaceEmail Bernanke he has the answers. Better yet just printout his paper and submit it.

Funny. I tried that approach once and it worked. I emailed Dr. Michael Burry and he actually got back to me. TO help with a paper.

Maybe I should try my luck again. With Bernanke.
