If I can get a SA stint at a reputable BB or a HF internship at a good firm, which is better for my career prospects? I'd get to work around smarter people at the HF, but it wouldn't be for a full time offer.

If it's not a ft offer, definitely go for the BB.
But it could become a ft offer 5 years down the line, which I think would be worth it, as people at HF make a lot more than BB folks.
