How to answer "Why our bank" interview question?
I have been struggling to see the differences among BB. At least from their websites, all of them focus on teamwork, employee growth, and giving back to society...How can I structure my answer so that it does not sound like a cookie-cutter that can fit any BB?
Thx sooo much guys!!
Best way to get a real answer is to talk to people working there. Day before superdays banks often have some sort of happy hour meet and greet type thing.
Try to do name drop, talk about ppl you know (better be someone who will not give negative comments about you).
They only say that they want to give back to society. The HMs don't give a shit about that. There's only one person who pays their salaries and it's the clients. Talk about the clients, how you're passionate to serve them and how you're motivated by that. Don't sound fake, be genuine. Talk about how it's rewarding to be able to help a client achieve their goals, etc.
Secondly, read between the lines of what they're about. Most firms these days dedicate a ridiculous amount to technology. Talk about that how that's a passion for you and how you can really get behind that.
Great reply. Best one so far. Can't beat it. If you have nothing to say, talking about clients will never gi wrong
