How to make empty summer sound productive?
Graduated from a target in late May and I'm still unemployed. Things are looking promising however and I have several interviews lined up. How do I make it seem that I haven't been a bum all summer and doing nothing? How do I sound like its been somewhat of a productive summer or that I haven't wasted it when asked during interviews? I'm thinking about talking about how I've been studying for the CFA Level 1 in December, traveled after graduation internationally (not true), and been networking extensively (somewhat true). It's been a real stressful summer and has made me slightly depressed being stuck at home all day searching for job openings, so this isn't by choice.
