IB Latin America Group to PE
From a Latin America coverage team based out of NYC. Think JPM, Citi, CS. Are exit opps to PE strong or an uphill battle. Any insight would be great. Thanks.

I would say more of an uphill battle, at least as far as PE funds based in the U.S. go.
Naturally, these groups will give you good exits to funds covering Latin America, but the bulk of the Latin American PE industry is now locally based (at least for South America).
That being said, I've seen people work in some of the groups you mention above and make it to mega-funds in NY, so it's not impossible.
Thanks.
Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Your school will play a role as well - do you go to a target school?
