Pink shirt (not hot pink, not very mild pink either) inside with a dark blue / charcoal suit for a full time IBD interview. Okay or not okay?

Thanks for the feedback, guys!
I forgot to add an important piece of information... The question is asked on behalf of a girl going for full-time ibd interview.

I'm pretty sure everyone was answering assuming you are a guy. That said, it doesn't matter much - girl, guy, stick to the basics. Suit sounds good, but I'd go with a nice blue or blueish shirt - I probably wouldn't go with white, only because you aren't going to be utilizing the tie to dress it up a bit.
Here's an article on dressing for an interview - albeit from a man's perspective - but it should give you a bit of insight into the basics - http://www.bankonbanking.com/2009/09/09/a-banker%E...

So ive got something like this: plumb stripe suit except the shirt is a lighter blue with delicate darker stripes which blends in to a nice shade if your more than 3ft away and the same tie design except a goldish shade. (dont take my colors too seriously i care to differentiate only about 6 colors.)
Good or not conservative enough?

I personally think in the end, they are not judging you on your suit, however, that being said, I always wear a navy suit and white shirt (I also have a stripe suit, however, don't wear it to interviews).

I swear I'm going to start offering bad advice on these boards to get people out of our industry. It's already flooded with enough people. What type of job are you interviewing for? How old are you? Never wear anything pink to an interview, I don't care if it's a tie.
Do IB interviewers care about
Do IB interviewers care about how nice your suit is? I'm getting a made-to-measure navy suit with a ticket pocket and pick stitching. Would that be too gaudy?

I'm assuming you're joking, but if not: in general, interviewers do not care "how nice your suit is." They understand that if you're interviewing for an analyst position, you're probably still in college and (most likely) don't have the cash to buy a really nice suit. That being said, you don't want to show up looking like you just rolled in having slept under a bridge.

Thanks for the info, but what I was trying to get at was whether someone could be too nicely dressed rather than the other way around. I mean, would rolling in with an impeccably tailored made-to-measure or Savile Row bespoke with the aforementioned oramentation turn the interviewer off?
