Is finance the right field for me?

I'm in college and I can't decide what I should major in. I'm interested in personal finance/investing and I like learning about investments and forming strategies (dividend strategies, mutual funds, ETFs, etc). I also like analyzing and investing in the stock market and learning how the market works and knowing how much the Dow Jones/S&P 500 has gone up or down.

But I'm not sure whether finance is just a hobby/interest and not a career for me. I took an intro level accounting class and absolutely dreaded it; we made balance sheets, financial statements, and such and I couldn't stand any of the brainless work. I'd want a job where I could analyze and strategize investments.

Is there a finance related job for me?
