Is it in New York (JPM) or Houston (with the former Bear Energy group)?
It is in Houston.
Make sure you know futures markets inside and out. Know all the different types of spreads for each market and options strategies if possible. Also make sure you know the global supply/demand numbers for each commodity and who the big players are.
Be prepared for standard trading interview questions like probability questions, option theory/valuation, futures/forwards, logic questions, etc. Also know the answer to why energy trading vs. equities/fixed income/other commodities. I would shy away from memorizing facts about global supply and demand factors and stay more focused on why you were interested in energy unless you are interviewing for a group/product.
