Management rotation program with small company - exit opportunities?
Hey all, I am a senior at a top undergrad school, and I have been looking to get into the finance or consulting business. I've been applying all year, but unfortunately no luck. I am also an international student, so recruiting has been tough for me since a lot of companies are not willing to sponsor candidates.
Anyway I got a job offer today from a growing, venture-backed produce distribution company, for a management rotation program that they have. I am considering whether or not I should accept this position. My main concern is the exit opportunities - will I be able to get a job in finance or consulting in a year or two? I will be competing against people who have done finance or consulting right out of college, so I'm worried that this might not be the best long-term strategy for me. I don't want to be stuck in the produce or food industry for the rest of my life haha.
Any help would be appreciated!

If you don't want to be in
If you don't want to be in the industry then I guess you shouldn't take it, but it seems like your only option other than going back to your home country.
Also, management training programs usually take 1-2 yrs and are for people they are trying to groom to lead the company in the future, especially at a smaller place. I would have to imagine it would be hard to jump into a FO role if you go that route, but others will probably give you feed back as well.
