Drug Testing positive after smoking marijuana
Disclaimer: I am a responsible person. I thought I had been rejected from all jobs since until Monday of last week I did not know I had gotten the job since everywhere either rejected me or put me on hold (this place interviewed me then simply did not reply to my emails...). So I had smoked marijuana that Sunday. I stopped when I found out I got the job. Question is, if my first day is tomorrow will they drug test me on the spot or how long can I stall. I have no problem not smoking weed, I was never a heavy user, I just need to clean my system.
And to all you condescending assholes, if I knew I would have a job I wouldn't have smoked. Also it is a low tier regional bank/boutique whatever you call it.
Did they tell you directly that there would be a drug test? I've rarely heard of boutique banks giving drug tests -especially on the first day. If you're concerned, ask some subtle question as to if there is a pre-employment medical or something along those lines.
Just took a "first check" at home drug test. I passed yay I feel like I did when I got my phone interview. They didnt say they would drug test but I noticed in some of their job postings for other positions from a year years ago it said there is drug testing.
You should be fine. I highly doubt that they'll ask for it on the first day. They'll most likely give you a day or two to get settled in. Just keep chugging water lol.

If an individual smoked weed approx. 2 months before the start of an internship and a possible drug test, will their system be completely clear of all traces by the time the test comes around?
Or if not completely clear, will any amounts that show up be attributable to second hand smoke?

It doesn't take more than 2 weeks to get it out of your system. The more water you drink and the more you sweat, the quicker it gets out. Traces of second hand will be gone even more quickly.

Yea, the most it takes is 30 days unless you smoke like a quarter a day in which it would take like 45 days.

A hair test seems fairly unlikely, don't think that is a prevalent practice in the UK The drug test isn't even confirmed...but it's best not to take chances with this stuff
If you are worried go to the drug store and buy a home piss test for $15.
It will take 4-6 weeks for it to clear if your a heavy pot smoker. atleast a dub or two everyday. I highly doubt they will test your hair but if u think they will then shave your head, eyebrows, balls so they cant get any hair from u. If they look at u funny say u have been going thru chemo.Or just fuck the job who cares, in a century it wont matter anyway
The individual in question is not a heavy smoker so it should not be a problem...and he likes his eyebrows
