Mid lifer career crisis

I have been working with BPO for last5 years now. I plan to do my MBA. However due to financial constraints I can't leave my job and do it full time. Will distance learning help me to get a career boost?

Disclaimer: I have no experience with this.

Distance learning will almost never give you a career boost. If you are doing it purely because you want to learn then that's different. Will it advance your career in anyway? I would say, almost always, no.
