What the hell is a minor in consumption? Do you have a slight case of tuberculosis?

I thought that was like a punch-line to jokes about guys who drink a lot in college...

i thought the same thing captk.

I think he means "minor in possession" and no, it won't get your offer revoked unless they asked you about it previously, and you lied.

Most states allow you take some sort of alcohol education course that will remove a minor alcohol violation from your record. If you take one of these it probably won't show up on a background check (I have made it through three different checks without mine showing up. Also, it might depend on how serious your state views alcohol violations. Some states treat them pretty seriously while others just treat them as a summary offense (another word for a big parking ticket). If it does come up on your background check, HR will probably contact you and ask for details (happened to a friend), but I don't know if it is enough to cut you from the program completely.
