Paralysis by analysis

I know I'm not the only one here that suffers from paralysis by analysis on a forum full of people vying for positions that require some serious analytical abilities.

I'm confronted with a big decision right now between two choices. I have almost twenty tabs open spanning many (unintentional) hours spent researching the topic to death. I find that the best strategy is usually to go with my original hunch since I'm usually pretty set in my ways when I originally analyze something. I find it hard to accept advice from most people probably because I don't respect their opinions enough. This can be a good and bad thing. And I have a nasty addiction to information. I could spend days locked in a room reading content relevant to my interests (or pending decisions) on the internet.

I'm most at peace when I'm doing things that require me to be in the moment (pickup basketball, skydiving, giving a presentation, etc.) because I can't spend too much time thinking.

Any other over analytical types out there?
