Please please HELP! (IB recruitment)
Hey guys and gals,
I'm looking to apply to LSE, oxford, cambridge and imperial for (Finance and MFE) with the goal of GETTING a FO job at a BB . It says on imperials' website:
"There are no specific ‘A’ Level criteria, but many banks and companies in the financial sector have very strict grade requirements for their graduate programs. We strongly recommend that you research the entry requirements of any companies you are interested in working for."
This made me rethink about applying to a masters program in the UK.When I was in high school, I messed up. I got a 31/45 in the IBDP (international student BTW). After 'waking up', I studied hard and managed to get a 3.9 GPA approx(US College).
I want to work in London but it seems that banks ask for 'A' level grades even after a masters.
My question, specifically to student at one of these schools, is whether these schools offer an automatic interview/ filter bypass? If so, which one specifically? Does the A level requirement only apply to British citizens?
