QSR Restaurant EBITDA Thresholds
I'm at a boutique IB firm and we're meeting with a QSR chicken concept this week. Lower on the EBITDA scale, between $1.5-2MM by the time we take them to market. They are expecting around an 8x, but having just done a deal that was roughly 4 times that size, I know that they are probably looking at the 6x range due to EBITDA size and their lack of growth over the past 3 years. Any thoughts on where a company that size EBITDA in the QSR space might land on multiple? Will you P/E guys play at sub-$2MM?
