Real Estate Private Equity
I'm soon going to be a third year analyst in the real estate consulting group of one of the Big Four. I'm antsy to move on to new things, and I want to transition to real estate private equity. How desirable would I be to a REPE firm? Which firms should I target? Are there any particular headhunters I should look into? If REPE is out of the question in this economy, what else should I consider?
Thanks.
It depends on the consulting firm you're coming from and the experience you have.
Bain and McKinsey (with a lot of PE / finance cases) is optimal.
