I just graduated in January with a degree in Economics. My academic record is strong -3.93with 4.0 in all Economics and Mathematics coursework- I also have a year experience as an analyst at a boutique PE real estate shop where I interned and worked part time as I completed my senior year.
However I come from a non-target school, and I am late in the application cycle.
Since I graduated from a non-target school and have noexperience or formal training, should I apply to programs or full-time analyst programs? Do they offer the same training in full-time analyst programs as they do in summer programs? Also I am currently taking 2 post-bacc courses, one in securities analysis and the other in probability theory, so does it make more sense to apply for summer analyst position?
Remember I do NOT come from a target school.
