Recent grad- Summer Analyst or FT Analyst position?
I just graduated in January with a degree in Economics. My academic record is strong -3.93 GPA with 4.0 in all Economics and Mathematics coursework- I also have a year experience as an analyst at a boutique PE real estate shop where I interned and worked part time as I completed my senior year.
However I come from a non-target school, and I am late in the application cycle.
Since I graduated from a non-target school and have no BB experience or formal training, should I apply to summer analyst programs or full-time analyst programs? Do they offer the same training in full-time analyst programs as they do in summer programs? Also I am currently taking 2 post-bacc courses, one in securities analysis and the other in probability theory, so does it make more sense to apply for summer analyst position?
Remember I do NOT come from a target school.

I do not think you are
I do not think you are eligible for SA since you already graduated, and I think you are too late in the recruiting cycle for any firms with a structured program if you are just applying now. I think you are going to have to look for a boutique shop that doesn't care you already graduated and hasn't filled their spots yet... or just wait until FT recruiting in the fall.

You are not eligible for a summer role, but there are many middle market and boutique firms that are understaffed. Many of them are new and are doing a lot of refinancing/restructuring work.
