resume advice? prease?

Hello all

Could you tear apart my resume and help me improve it. I've had several people look it over, but after sending it out to hundreds of places, i'm starting to think that it's me and not "the economy"

I'm trying to break into M&A and have "some" experience. this is my current resume. the transactions aren't ones that i've been fully involved in, but as an intern i've helped on certain aspects. I was conflicted on whether I should include them, but figured it would help so I put them in.

All help is greatly appreciated

Dude, yes you're right. I can see serious problems in just the first few bullets.

  • make sure all your tenses are past tense.
  • make sure you have quantitative data in your bullets.
  • make sure your bullets explain the effects of your actions, and not just the actions themselves.
  • shorten your bullets. They shouldn't be more than two lines long.

This is all resume 101 stuff. I would do some research on what makes a good resume.
