Risk Management or Client Services Associate???

Interviewing at two funds right now, one is Bridgewater for a Client Services Associate position, the other fund York Capital is for a Risk Management role. Which would be the better move for trying to land into the investment strategy/trading side of the PM industry?

Any thoughts/opinions are greatly appreciated.

Out of those options your best choice is clearly risk due to the fact it at least includes some analysis

Risk if you're looking to get into the investment/strategy aspect of the fund.

Client Services at best could possibly lead to business development which helps market hedge funds to potential investors.

The latter is great if you're a 'people' person or a really hot chick. And quite honestly, business development roles @ HFs should be on the rise with new regulation & the Obama Jobs act.
