Sell-side tactics
I'm looking to get some insight on various sellside tactics that you can use, when to use them and how to use them in order to increase value, increase success rate and minimise time. Assume you are selling a business where you have financial and strategic buyers, some of which have previously shown interest. What tactics or tools could you use in your process?
One way could be to invite parties who previously have shown interest to submit non-binding offers early on with "best-foot-forward" on value for potential investors to avoid a full blown auction.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
