How did you get a job there? Didn't they freeze recruitment since they're in a transitional phase?

I didn't get a job there, but used to work with them in a previous job. Any insights into their trading operation? What's the reputation?

They are still trading natty in the Midwest and South I beleive. But the shop has seriously been raided but a job is better than no job. So I would say see if you can land something.
They are still in integration process and will be rebranded.
Everyone is wondering what will happen cos there can't be two senior guys on every desk. I think was it London or NY JPM will move into Sempra's building though.
Noble has been in a hiring frenzy these past half a year ... and looking for storage to go along with it lol
why would JPM move into Sempra's building in CT? is Nobel a good place to start out for energy?
When did JPM buy Sempra US? Not sure how they can move into a building they do not own.
RBS Sempra's metals and oil trading arm was just bought by JPM and will close in June. I know because I have a contact at Sempra who will start working for JPM in June as part of the deal. Don't know if they will stay in CT, but I think it is likely that they will join the rest of JPM commodities operation in NY or maybe JPM commodities will join them in CT (Like MS commodities is in Westchester, NY)
JPM has not moved into Sempra's building. Sempra is still waiting to hear who will buy the US Power and Gas business. Spark spread mentioned vitol, noble, jeffries, JP morgan
Sempra is in the process of moving into the JPM Calgary office right now.
