Series 56, how long should you study, benefits down road?
I'm wondering, as I'm about to take the series 56 exam, how long did anyone here who took it take in terms of studying? Also, given the sheer amount of stuff on it (it has everything from options hedging/income/fx options to stocks, rules, at least 500+ pages in Pass Perfect), will future employers see it as a sign of being well versed?
I took a class, including that probably about 40 hours or so. The Pass Perfect goes way overboard on the options section FYI. Study the online cheat sheets too.

How much time does one need to study for series 56? (starting from the scratch, not related to the industry at the moment) and what parts require special attention? Thanks
We JUST had a thread on this like last week, I will try to find and edit this post.
Thank you, I appreciate it

Hi everyone:) I finally got a "Congratulations" email from a trading firm after an interview. They said once I pass the Series 56, I can get a trainee position and then a prop trader position. Usually how long does it take to prepare for Series 56? I am a recent college graduate, and don't have any clue about it. How to get started? Also, do trading firms usually require capital contribution? I heard of that, but don't know if it's legit. Thank you everyone!
