Take me out to the ball game....

Our old pal Maddy’s name is in the news yet again (I know – shocker). Looks like his season tickets for the Mets are about to be put up for auction on eBay. The trustee for Bernie’s estate has received the go-ahead to auction off the tickets in an effort to raise some more money to help pay back some of the billions that Madoff jacked from investors. (In a beautiful twist, one of those investor’s just happens to be Met’s owner, Fred Wilpon.)

Before you run off to bid, keep in mind that the exact seats up for grabs are slightly different than the ones Bernie’s ass used to sit in (and that’s a huge, slimy seat to fill), which were second row behind home plate. Apparently in an effort to make the package more marketable, they’ve exchanged those seats for some a few rows further back in a different section. The difference in face value is about $20k.

Still not a bad deal if you’ve got the dough. The seats come with access to the Delta Sky360 club and a parking pass. Not sure exactly when the bidding starts, but if you win you may be able to get the tickets in time to see the Mets open for the season on the 13th. Of course, they do have internet access in prison, so who knows. If someone with the screen name “imaswindlingdouchebag” happens to outbid you – don’t be surprised.

what a non-funny thread. "our old pal maddy"? what the hell are you talking about? why do you write like this?

"imaswindlingdouchebag" as a screenname? what kind of joke is that?

Can we make Affluenza resign, just like some politicians and ceo's have done so in the pass? Patrick, what do you say? I say we create a poll with the following question: Should Affluenza be removed --> Yes or No. This is plain and simple, if wso wants her we should have more yes than no's. Thoughts anyone?
