Mercanti is a boutique bank with around about 15 people. I know they are closely affiliated with Moelis & Co. and have close contacts with them. There are some former DLJ guys that work there so you know they are competent and hardworking. Overall, I would say that they are a great boutique bank and are known throughout LA by the other banks.
