Hey guys, was thinking of buying Nokia as it's well sub-$4. They are getting eaten alive on their low end phones front, but the new releases (the Lumia line) are getting great reviews, selling well, and offer carriers another alternative to the iPhone (which carrier like). Besides that they should be in the green soon on their Nokia-Ericsson network investment, will be rolling out tablets in Q3/4, and could get acquired by Microsoft. Any thoughts?

I was keeping an eye on this
I was keeping an eye on this too. On a value basis it looks really nice. However, it got downgraded to junk on Friday.

No Way, just because the
No Way, just because the share price is low and cheap doesn't mean you should buy it! If they did a 1 for 10 reverse stock split and traded at $36, would you still buy them? I haven't done a lot of research on my own regarding NOK but the Lumina phone is not going to bring them back from the dead. Apple, Samsung and Google are eating them alive in terms of market share and I just don't see Nokia pulling ahead any time soon.

Someone been watching a little mad money lately? This has Cramer written all over it haha. Great point nonetheless.
I thought that they would
I thought that they would make a come back in emerging markets. Then, the Apple phenomenon hit them, and everyone wants iPhones as status symbols. They are hemorrhaging market share and are basically dead in the water.
