Toronto: RBC DCM
Can anyone tell me more about the group? I'm interviewing for a summer spot there and really want to nail it down.
Also, I know Canadian banks love technicals...I'm just a math major. My only classroom finance is a fixed-income securities class (which I guess is hugely relevant to DCM). Should I expect to get grilled on techs anyways?
Anyone? Can someone at least tell me what a DCM SA does on a day-to-day basis?
A friend summered at RBC Dominion Securities, interview questions were all about experience and fit, so don't worry.
We're Italian, "WACC" means something else to us.
um Dominion Securities is the wealth management arm of RBC. DCM is part of RBC Capital Markets.
to the OP, sorry I can't speak from experience on this one. Just go through all the standard IBD technical and behavioural questions. Might I add, how did you land this interview anyway? Isn't it a little late in the recruiting season for the big 5.
Best of luck.
Thanks...got very lucky. I've just been emailing group heads all over the place asking if there were any openings, and I hit on one in DCM at RBC -- not bad for a soph.
^ Wow, well done landing an interview by that method.
