Tracking Press Releases of 500 software companies

Friends,
I have a list of 500 software companies.
I want to be able to -
1) Track Press releases of these 500 companies (say for a new release).
2) Track changes in management/leadership.
Which software/service is best for this.
I have tried Google Reader but it is not good enough. I have looked at some of the sales intelligence tools on the market.
But wanted some advice on the most cost-effective way to achieve this (because ours is a small bank with only 4 bankers).
